Life and Death
Of late I have been hearing a lot about “life and death”. Two weeks ago while I was leaving for office, a Christian couple; quite old, around 60 -65 yrs of age; came to our house. They were actually going to everybody’s house and distributing pamphlets which contained a few things like “Do I believe in GOD?” “Salvation” “Does GOD help you when you in trouble?” “Re-birth” “What after death” etc. So it was all about life and death. They asked me a few questions. I could answer about life but had no idea about death. I told her that about death the only thing I know is that when people die, we lose them forever.
In Gran Torino, Clint Eastwood was asked about life and death where it is shown that he knew more about death than life. A friend of mine asked me if I have ever felt in my life; maybe for a moment; that I ll die. Another friend told that he had experienced once how it feels when you die. You see, a lot of discussions.
You earn a lot all your life; money, fame, name, respect, love; but when it comes to death, nothing helps. They say when you die you take nothing with you. Yes; you die lonely. For some your death will be a loss of life, for some just the loss of your name and some will not even know that u existed. May be if u create some history, many will remember you. But still there will be a few who would not even know your name. Like the maid at my house in Baroda doesn’t know who Sardar Patel was.
Some say life do exists after death, some say a new journey begins at death, some talk about “Moksha”, some about re-birth. With all due respect to everybody’s views, I say I believe in just one thing “U live just one life”. May be because I haven’t experienced anything like “death” or “after death” and if at all I ve experienced I don’t remember J
So I believe in just one thing- this is my only life.
I can’t say how much life everybody has, but we should make the most of the time we have. Doing good to many and some bad to may be a very few ;). Enjoying every moment to the fullest. Loving the loved ones as much as we can.

“There is a more important thing than ‘life and death’. And that thing is living”

Seems like life is a puzzle
And I am confused -
Every time I try to find the solution
And the problem gets changed....
Sometimes I feel, the horizon is blurred
And when I open my eyes, no one is around
At other times I feel, the life has open it's arms
And I have many; hands to hold….
I keep running; And with each passing day,
run with a greater speed; with the hope of reaching the line..
But when I seem, close to the line
I see it goes missing....
I hope someday, I would reach the line
And someday I would, uncover the solution
But if the problem does not change
How would I call it a LIFE?
This is how life is - now and again...
And I am confused -

Some Important Learnings
It’s rightly said that life is the best teacher. It teaches you many things. I wanna jot down a few points that I think have been most imp learning for me and which I ll never want to forget. I will keep updating the list as and when I learn something imp.
(1) Distances may not make your hearts apart, but you definitely lose touch with your friends. It becomes really difficult to keep in touch thru phones when you are in different cities, especially countries. You might not intentionally wanna lose touch; but it happens. And it’s obvious.
So, next time when your friend; who has not been in touch for months together or may be years together; calls you up or emails you, do not blame them for losing touch. Rather, thank them for remembering you.
(2) Emotions like –
Solitude and Love
Shun and Care
Misery and Happiness
Tears and Joy
Loss and Gain
Anger and Serenity
Insecurity and Passion
Envy and Possession
Despair and Hope
Obligation and Freedom
go hand in hand. One emotion is in-complete without the other and without the first ones; you will never understand the importance of second ones.
(3) GOD always wants you to meet a few wrong people in your life, so that you can cherish the ones you have and can understand the importance of right people. Hence, if somebody hurts you or cheats you; be assured that the person was not the right person and remeber the lesson that you learned from them.
It might also happen that you are in a relationship and it did not turn out to be the way you wanted. Understand that it was never meant to be that way. And you are yet to meet the right MAN/WOMAN of your life.
(4) There is not a single person in this world that doesn’t have any problem. It’s up to you how you behave in the conditions of distraught. You cannot avoid your problems. The sooner you accept them the quicker you will be out of them. All days pass by. Hence, you have to have the faith that the days of problems will also pass by soon.
